Grand County Agencies Launch 6th Annual Food Drive to Support Mountain Family Center

GRAND COUNTY AGENCIES LAUNCH 6TH ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE TO SUPPORT MOUNTAIN FAMILY CENTER
GRAND COUNTY, CO – The Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Grand County Emergency Medical Services and Grand County Government are joining Middle Park Health for the sixth annual food drive benefiting Mountain Family Center.
From Monday, October 12, through Friday, November 13, community members can drop off nonperishable food at any participating location. The organizations will take part in a friendly competition to collect donations for Mountain Family Center’s food pantries and Thanksgiving Meal Bags.
Items requested for Thanksgiving Meal Bags include canned yams or sweet potatoes, corn, green beans, cream of mushroom soup and cranberries; stuffing; boxed or pouch mashed potatoes; fried onions; marshmallows; and cake or brownie mix.
